The SOX protein family
The SOX proteins belong to a family of transcription factors with a conserved high-mobility group (HMG) domain. The 20 SOX proteins currently known are implicated in processes such as the development of the nervous system, reproduction system as well as tumorigenesis. Based on the HMG domain homology, SOX proteins are divided into different groups termed A to H, having distinct biological functions.

Antibodies targeting the SOXB1 proteins

SOX2 is one of the essential transcription factors contributing to the embryonic stem cell state and further development of the central nervous system. SOX3 is involved in early neuronal development and male sex development. See available antibodies for SOX2 and SOX3 below.
