Immunohistochemistry analysis in human adrenal gland and tonsil tissues using HPA029103 antibody. Corresponding RGN RNA-seq data are presented for the same tissues.

Product Features

The Anti‑RGN antibody (HPA029103) is designed for sensitive detection of RGN (Regucalcin), an intracellular enzyme and metabolic protein with strong protein‑level evidence in the Human Protein Atlas. RGN shows group‑enriched RNA expression in the adrenal gland and liver, aligning with its placement in the “Non‑specific – Metabolism (mainly)” expression cluster.

Significance in Research: HPA protein profiling demonstrates cytoplasmic and nuclear expression in multiple metabolically active tissues, including hepatocytes, renal tubules, exocrine pancreas, and adrenal cortex, with clear cytosolic localization at the subcellular level. RGN also appears as a favourable prognostic marker in renal and liver cancers, expanding its relevance in oncology and metabolic disease research. This antibody is an excellent choice for studies in metabolism, liver and kidney biology, endocrine regulation, and RGN‑linked cancer pathways.
