Atlas Antibodies was founded in 2006 as the commercial arm of one of the world's most ambitious science initiatives: the Human Protein Atlas which maps protein expression across all human tissues and organs.

We are the original manufacturer and our antibodies are built on that foundation.

2000 — Human Genome Project completed. The race to map all the human proteins begins.
2003 — Human Protein Atlas initiated, funded by the Knut & Alice Wallenberg Foundation.

2006 — Atlas Antibodies founded. Triple-A Polyclonals bring Human Protein Atlas–grade antibodies to market.
2012 — PrecisA Monoclonals launch. Precise, accurate and targeted mouse monoclonals.
2019 — Enhanced Validation. Application-specific validation data introduced across the catalogue, documenting how each antibody performs in the methods it's recommended for.
2021 — Acquisitions of HistoCyte (cell line controls) and evitria (recombinant antibody expression) expand the platform beyond primary antibodies.
2024 — MolBoolean protein proximity kit launch: quantifying free and interacting proteins in situ.
2025 — AtlasPlex multiplexing kit launch: a customizable multiplex IHC kit built on 12,000+ HPA-validated targets.
2026 — Recombinant Antibodies. Sequence-defined production for animal-free manufacturing and consistent lot-to-lot performance.
