Through working with the Human Protein Atlas Project (HPA), Atlas Antibodies has become one of the world's largest biomarker banks. Given our origins, it is very difficult to find a more comprehensive source of biomarkers on the market today. Being in this position, has led us to also become a top producer of highly qualified tissue micro arrays (TMAs) for high throughput protein profiling in large patient cohorts. Coupling our unlimited access to the Human Protein Atlas database with the large library of uniquely characterized antibodies used to generate the data and the industry leading tissue micro array generation we have a well-balanced foundation to build our biomarker discovery platform.

Biomarker Discovery Platform

The Biomarker industry is inundated with proteins that are high on claims and little data to support their position. At Atlas Antibodies, we have created a proprietary cost efficient screening and validation platform that allows us to develop and invest in only the "best in class" biomarkers.

Atlas Antibodies applies its' proprietary platform to screen for potential biomarkers and to validate the clinical value of these biomarkers.

Our platform allows us to identify the individual protein's potential as a cancer biomarker for diagnostic, prognostic, and/or treatment predictive use. The core value of our platform is:
  • Our ability to recognize the key proteins early in the process by applying our validation techniques whereby we only progress with the proteins most likely to succeed as a biomarker. Once a protein profile has been validated, Atlas Antibodies invests into further studies, determines the business case and submits patent filings.
  • Being the best in the industry for generating tissue micro arrays (TMAs). Due to our access to patient material and our internal processes, we have become the market specialists in high quality TMA generation.
  • Our library of > 12,000 highly characterized antibodies targeting >10,000 human proteins.
  • Having the world's largest human protein expression database covering more than 700 normal and tumor derived tissue samples for each protein.

By utilizing our proprietary discovery platform, our partners are able to have access to the world's largest human protein expression database including all the antibodies used to generate the data. We then apply our technical platform to determine individual proteins functionality as a biomarker and/or to answer our client's clinical question/s.
