New version of the Human Protein Atlas has been released June 16, 2009
A new version (5.0) of the Human Protein Atlas has been released including antibodies targeting protein products from 1/3 of the human protein-coding genes.

The Human Protein Atlas now contains subcellular localization data (IF) for 3541 genes.

All together, 8832 antibodies are documented with 7,334,244 images.


Launch of new products 2009
Atlas Antibodies launches more than 2000 new products in connection to the release of the Human Protein Atlas version 5.0 at the 3rd EuPA Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, June 14-17 2009.

New version of the Human Protein Atlas has been released August 18, 2008
A new version (4.0) has been released, doubling the number of antibodies and images from the previous version. The database now includes all predicted human protein-encoding genes and allows for complex queries involving protein classes, chromosome location and tissue and cell protein profiles.

The Human Protein Atlas now contains subcellular localization (IF) for 1899 genes.

Atlas Antibodies launches more than 1000 new products in connection to the release of the Human Protein Atlas version 3.0 at the HUPO 6th Annual World Congress in South Korea, 6-10 October 2007.

New version of the Human Protein Atlas has been released October 9, 2007
A new version of the Human Protein Atlas has been released. The new version contains more than 2.8 million images corresponding to more than 3000 antibodies. Protein Array-data and Western Blot-data have been added.

A new feature with immunofluorescent (IF) images generated with confocal microscopy has been added. The subcellular localization for 769 antibodies in three human cell lines is shown.

A new feature has been added to allow the possibility to search for proteins with specific expression patterns in normal and/or cancer tissues.
